All current projects/programs currently operating within the context of New Path may be considered for New Path Ventures.
Criteria to Determine Suitability
Programs/projects will be assessed independently of their current in house (New Path) environment including funding/client population.

All programs/projects will be compatible with the vision, mission and strategic plan of New Path

New Path conflict of interest policy will be applied.

A business plan application (to be determined) will be used to determine the program/projects market (community) need, consideration re alternatives and competition, financial viability for New Path as well as for the project, other regulatory, legal and standards compliance and measurable performance outcomes.

The activity will include external partner(s) for funding and may include partners for service delivery and administration.

New Path will determine its organizational capacity (financial, human resources, I.T., clinical, etc) to manage the project irrespective of the projects suitability.

A clear statement of the activity’s suitability as a New Path social enterprise endeavour will be used and include documented double bottom line outcomes; values consistent with New Path values statement; ethical business/social practices that are consistent with published Canadian Business practice standards and with published Canadian not for profit service delivery ethics.
