Highest Accreditation Award Presented to New Path
Children, Youth, Families and Adults in Simcoe County benefit from CMHO accreditation which provides public assurance of quality and ensures standards of excellence
The Hon. Aileen Carroll, Minister of Culture, and Minister Responsible for Seniors – Barrie, participated in the presentation of the CMHO Accreditation award to New Path CEO Glen Newby who received the award on behalf of New Path staff , friends and those served by New Path. The presentation was made at the Common Roof board room on Feb 4th at 3:30.
Joining the Hon. Aileen Carroll in the award presentation was CMHO Vice-President J. Nicholas Kaduck and CMHO board member Wendy Fairley.
New Path leadership was further recognized with the appointment of New Path CEO Glen Newby as President of Children’s Mental Health Ontario
New Path Youth and Family Services is a multi-service children’s mental health agency that is fully accredited by Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO). New Path has several sites through out Simcoe County and their Head Office is located in the Common Roof building at 165 Ferris Lane in Barrie
The agency provides a full range of services to children and youth from birth up to eighteen years of age, their families and adults across Simcoe County.
New Path is a registered charitable organization governed by a community based volunteer Board of Directors. All board members live and/or work in Simcoe County.
New Path is one of the largest human service organizations in Simcoe employing close to 100 staff members. Approximately 2,100 children, youth and their families receive service in a given year. New Path currently manages a budget of $6.5 million
