To develop and support the use of ‘social purpose enterprise’ driven services, administration and resource development programs for the purpose of increasing the flow of revenues into services.

• To develop social purpose activities for the benefit of New Path programs.

• To forge productive linkages for the purpose of New Path Ventures goals

• To promote and encourage resource development activities that result in net revenues for New Path Services.

• To work toward sustainable resource strategies for New Path.

• To establish an operating culture for innovative ideas and provide an incubator for these ideas.

• To ensure all activities of New Path Ventures have attainable and measurable results.

• To track all activity of New Path Ventures to ensure full transparency

• To evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of New Path Ventures' programs as they relates to the mission and goals.

• To determine the cost effectiveness of programs/projects using social purpose assessment tools.  

• To provide administrative services on an as needed basis to New Path Ventures activity.

• To promote, communicate, market all social purpose activities to New Path community and beyond.

Operation Policies  

• All work of New Path Ventures shall be to the benefit of New Path and its stakeholders.

• Decisions regarding Ventures program/project expense, New Path staff participation, and gross revenues are made consistent with project purpose, available resources and New Path policies

• All New Path Ventures activities will have a social purpose outcome.

• Revenues for New Path Ventures development are derived from Grants, project net revenues and New Path Foundation.

• The use of net revenues derived from projects/programs is determined using established criteria including:

  • project terms of reference and

  • New Path Ventures mission, policy and procedures.
